At the same time, you can add basic details about your business that will be needed to generate the evaluation license key.

Once your email address is verified you'll get instant access to the licence key and you can download the software.

Business Name:

 

Example: Acme Products Corp.
Provide the name of the entity to which any Human Intelligence license (an evaluation license in this case) should be issued. Ordinarily this is your business name. If you don't have a business name then use your personal name.

Business Nickname:

 

Example: acmeproducts
Provide a one-word nickname for your business based on your business name. This is used as a lookup field in case we need to find your account.

Your Email:

 

Use an email address at which you can respond to the one-time code that will be sent so that your email address can be verified as deliverable. This email address will appear in your license.

Your Full Name:

 

Your first and last name - these also appear in the license.

Hey, it's Stephen Carter, creator of the knowledge base-building software known as Human Intelligence.

While this is commercial software, you can get access to an evaluation version that can be downloaded and installed onto your own server.

You will need certain resources to be in place to run the software, notably PHP, Python, MySQL and PostgreSQL (or Supabase as an alternative).

There's also a preflight script you can run before you decide to install anything. The preflight will tell you if there are any resources lacking in your environment that you should attend to before attempting the install.
